Raymor Industries Wins Contract to Supply Metal and Ceramic Thermal Spray Services

Raymor Industries Inc. is proud to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, AP&C Advanced Powders & Coatings Inc. (AP&C) has received a contract from DK Machine for its metal and ceramic thermal spray coating services. DK Machine, a US company based in New York State, is an important manufacturer of ball valves for severe applications in different industrial sectors which necessitate high-end coatings such as those offered by AP&C.

“We are happy to add DK Machine (USA) to our list of international clients active in the aerospace and specialized industrial sectors,” said Mr. Stéphane Robert, President of Raymor Industries and AP&C. “As compared to the competition, our coatings are considerably superior when used in extreme abrasion, wear, corrosion and high temperature environments, which are found in aerospace and certain other industrial applications,” added Mr. Robert.

AP&C offers different services for military, aerospace, aeronautical and specialized industrial sectors, including Atmospheric Plasma Spraying (APS), High Velocity Oxyfuel (HVOF), and Vacuum Plasma Spraying (VPS), a process unique in Canada. AP&C is in the running for important industrial projects underway, and also targets introducing its VPS coatings expertise in the aeronautical and aerospace sectors. As well, AP&C is currently in the qualification process to become approved suppliers for other important companies, of which large coating production volumes are expected this year.
