Precision Products Releases Second Generation Texturizer Upgrade for Plantex BCF Extruders

Precision Products, an ISO: 9001-2008 certified designer and manufacturer of high precision machine parts for the textile industry has announced the release of their second generation texturizer upgrade for Plantex BCF extruders.

The in-house developed texturizer allows owners of Plantex extrusion lines to retrofit the new split-jet system to any of their (Plantex) lines. This upgrade provides styling flexibility and better face yarn coverage from the higher bulk yarn produced by the new system. Other benefits include less waste during line start up as well as scheduling flexibility within a plant that has both older and new extruders capable of higher bulk levels than Plantex lines without the upgrade.

According to President David Davis, “We have retrofitted many extruders with our proprietary bolt-on system and it is a proven upgrade that can bring an old Plantex line back from the brink of obsolescence and allow it to make fiber with bulk levels equal to more modern lines in use today. We also have a new upgraded direct replacement texturizer (non-split jet) for Filteco extruders as well.”

As the leading non-OEM replacement parts provider to the BCF fiber industry Precision Products is constantly looking for opportunities to better service this industry with their high-end CNC equipment and these important developments are perfect examples of these efforts.
