SGPPL Debuts Chromatography Assemblies for GC and HPLC Autosamplers

Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics (SGPPL) introduces Chromatography Assemblies for GC and HPLC autosamplers. Each assembly includes a choice of clear 2mL 33-Expansion (33E) or 51-Expansion (51E) borosilicate glass vials plus cap and liner closures, manufactured exclusively to provide a perfect fit on the vials. Closures are made from ultra-pure and chemically resistant materials to reduce sample loss and provide maximum protection to samples.

Vials come in three finishes to fit most autosamplers. Chemical-resistant 8/425 and 9mm polypropylene caps are available in 5 colors; 11mm aluminum crimp style is also available. Platinum-cured silicone / PTFE liners come in 4 colors for sample differentiation and are recommended for HPLC and GC applications. Red butyl / PTFE liners are also available for GC and routine analysis. Customers can choose pre-slit or solid liners.

“Unlike our competitors, Saint-Gobain produces PTFE film and oversees the quality of each liner. Vials are made from quality German glass for excellent chemical and temperature resistance,” said Katia May, Market Manager for the Laboratory Division at Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics. “Researchers engaged in high-volume chromatography work will value quality sample protection at low cost.”

Chromatography Assemblies are available with minimum order of one case (1,000 assemblies) and can be purchased directly through Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics or through distributors. Product samples are also available.
