AMIHO Technology Launches Combined LoRa and Wireless M-Bus Module at 868 MHz for the IoT, Smart Meter and Smart City Markets.

Get ahead in the IoT and Smart Metering with AMIHO’s AM094 production-ready compact radio modules, including fully-featured protocol stacks.

AMIHO Technology, “Connecting Every Thing” with their wireless communications expertise, announce the launch of their latest module, the AM094 with LoRa® wireless. The AM094 combines LoRa and Wireless Meter-Bus capability at 868 MHz to create long range radio to connect those hard to reach devices. The AM094 is a production-ready module designed for IoT and Smart Metering, with the benefit of LoRa to extend the range. In addition LoRa mode can be used independently to create point to point or star topology networks.

Presenting high performance in a compact common footprint (17.8 x 20.3 mm) the AM094 comes pre-loaded with AMIHO’s fully-featured LoRa and Wireless Meter-Bus, EN13757 compliant, software stack and includes AES128 encryption (used by governments and the banking industry).

AMIHO uses market-led innovation to provide our customers with the solutions they really need to get their product communicating and accelerate time to market. We have customers applying our technology in diverse sectors such as asset tracking, smart metering, IoT gateways, traffic management and environmental monitoring. Wireless Meter-Bus and LoRa allows long range networks at an affordable cost point compared to mobile (cellular) networks.

Managing Director David Blumstein

The AM094 module will be demonstrated at the NXP Tech Days in France (24 and 26 May) and at LPWA IoT Networks, 7-8 June, in Amsterdam.
