To better service the North American market MATERIAL is adding a new office in the USA. MATERIAL S.A., one of the world's leading companies for engineering and software for composite materials and filament winding technology, has signed a cooperation agreement with SKINNER CREATIVE, Inc. to become MATERIAL's new sales and engineering center for North America. The increasing demand for more and more complex applications in the composite industry made this expansion step necessary.
The new site, called MATERIAL USA, will be a service point for all sales and engineering issues in North America. MATERIAL USA will provide sales support and engineering services including part and process design, winding program calculation, process optimization, production planning as well as prototyping capability using MATERIAL's winding laboratory in Brussels. More than 30 years of industry experience and complete independence from any machine manufacturer or raw material supplier, allows MATERIAL to provide the best solution to customer problems.
MATERIAL USA will also provide installation, training and maintenance services for MATERIAL's well-known software packages: CADWIND, the world's leading process simulation system for filament winding, and COMPOSITE STAR, the database and design software for composites.
Michael L. Skinner, president of SKINNER CREATIVE, Inc., is a well known expert in filament winding and composites processing.
