Fabrication and Heat Treatment

Welding

UNS C93200 bearing bronzes are capable of being brazed and soldered. The welding processes not recommended for these alloys include carbon arc welding, oxyacetylene welding, coated metal arc welding and gas shielded arc welding.

Heat Treatment

UNS C93200 bearing bronzes have a stress reliving temperature of 260°C (500°F). These alloys do not respond to heat treatment.

Machinability
