Built for Precision
Force Measurement
The X250 range of testing machines is universally calibrated, with better than Grade 0.5 EN 7500-1, ASTM E-4, DIN 51221, AFNOR A03-501. Minimum range of 0.4% to 100% is provided. Load cells can be automatically identified. The machines offer a resolution of 1 part in 500,000. The system ensures electronic load cell protection.
Extension Measurement
The testing machines come with full frame length to a maximum selectable resolution of 0.000001 mm. The X250 range offers an accuracy of +/−0.01 mm. The range comes with absolute, relative and auxiliary modes in mm, inch and percent.
Speed Control
The X250 range provides best-in-class low-speed performance with speeds down to 0.00001 mm/minute. The range also ensures drive system temperature and current protection.
Load Frame
The load frame in the X250 range is a rigid frame based on precision linear guidance system and rigid extruded support column. The frame stiffness is 8 kN/mm together with an integrated K factor facility. The testing machines are equipped with a re-circulating ballscrew with bellows. The range also includes total travel trips, electronic limit trips and customer-programmable safety stops.
Electronics System
Modular electronics system provides quick data transfer to the PC (up to 1000 Hz) through high-speed Ethernet connection. Extensive input options enable the connection of an extensive range of accessories and extensometers through simple plug-in interface modules.
Safety Features
A wide range of safety features ensures the highest operator safety levels, such as overload/impact detection, E-Stop and programmable extension limits. The X250 range is fully compliant with global safety directives—2006/42/EU Machinery Directive, 2014/35/EU Low Voltage Directive and 2014/30/EU Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive.
Optional Touchscreen Panel PC
When the X250 range of machines is coupled with the optional IPC3 industrial-grade Panel PC with touchscreen control, it turns into a sturdy standalone system without requiring an external PC or laptop.

The system runs with the latest Windows 10 operating system and a complete version of Testometric’s winTest software, thus enabling full control of the test machine and offering storage and access to limitless test methods and results.
The built-in mounting arm connected to the machine column T-Slots can be fully adjusted for reach, height and viewing angle, thereby enabling the user to identify the most ergonomic working position.

All Testometric models come with Testometric’s comprehensive winTest Analysis software package.
The winTest Analysis software is the result of several years of continuous development, and thus offers an intuitive, flexible software package to suit material testing of all kinds. Testometric’s integrated test methods encompass compression, tensile, flexural, shear, peel, tear, creep, cyclic and multi-stage tests.
The models include an extensive range of industry-standard test methods and the ability to develop and store limitless further test methods. All test data can be stored in an automated manner and easily exported to other software packages like excel, word, SPC and access systems for optimized generation of reports.
