Built for Precision
Force Measurement
The X100 system is universally Calibrated and performs better than Grade 0.5 EN 7500-1, DIN 51221, ASTM E-4 and AFNOR A03-501. It features a range of 0.4% to 100% minimum. The system is capable of automatically identifying the load cells and provides a resolution of 1 in 50,000. It also offers electronic load cell protection.
Speed Control
The X100 system delivers an exceptional low-speed performance with speeds ranging down to 0.001mm/minute. It also provides drive system temperature and current protection.
Electronic System
The modular electronics of the system enable quick transfer to the PC (500 Hz) through a high-speed USB connection. Detailed input options facilitate the connection of a broad array of extensometers and accessories using simple plug-in interface modules.
Extension Measurement
The X100 system features a complete frame length to a maximum resolution of 0.0001 mm (selectable). It also delivers a precision performance of ±0.01 mm. The system is available in absolute, relative and auxiliary modes in mm, inch and percent.
Load Frame
The X100 system has been built with a rigid frame, using an accurate linear guidance system and rigid extruded support column. It features a frame stiffness of 5 kN/mm in addition to the built-in K factor facility. The system also includes re-circulating ball screw with bellows as well as electronic limit trips, total travel trips and customer programmable safety stops.
Safety Features
The system has extensive safety aspects to ensure the maximum level of operator safety, including programmable extension limits, E-Stop and overload/impact detection. It is strictly compliant with global safety directives 2006/42/EU Machinery Directive, 2014/35/EU Low Voltage Directive and 2014/30/EU Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive.
Optional Tablet PC
The system forms a robust standalone instrument when combined with the optional TPC1 tablet PC with touchscreen control. This can be achieved even without the need for an external laptop or PC.
The system employs the specialized version of Testometric’s WinTest software that has been optimized for touchscreen operation. The machine offers a fully-featured test environment with the capability to create and store unlimited techniques and results.
The integrated mounting arm which is attached to the machine column T-Slots can be fully aligned for reach, height and viewing angle. This enables the users to set the most ergonomic working position.
The machine can be alternatively connected to a conventional laptop or desktop PC using the WinTest EC software.
