S2 PICOFOX for Pharmaceutical Applications from Bruker

This video shows the Total Reflection X-Ray Fluorescence (TXRF) with the S2 PICOFOX used for pharmaceutical applications from Bruker. The pharmaceutical analysis through methods like AAS or ICP-OES is often restricted by sample quantity, the necessity for sample digestion and matrix related difficulties.

Whereas, TXRF/XRF allows analysis of trace element distribution of samples within, the micrograms range. As this method is based on internal standardization, no standards for external calibration are needed.
