XEI Scientific's Evactron Plasma Decontaminator

The Evactron plasma decontamination systems from XEI Scientific are used to clean samples or chambers. They removing organic contaminants and hydrocarbon residues from samples or on instruments such as scanning electron microscopes (SEM), transmission electron microscopes (TEM), or focused ion beam systems (FIB).

Tom Levesque explains how they can be used in either benchtop top or in situ and how their use can produce better images and data.
