At MD&M West 2009, Jabil today announced the debut of its single-use device (SUD) business, which offers a superior option for outsourcing device design, manufacture and aftermarket services worldwide. Building on over two decades of experience in medical electronic manufacturing services (EMS) and plastics molding, Jabil has created a complete service offering that optimizes the economic and efficiency benefits of outsourcing SUDs.

- Design and engineering: Jabil’s global ISO13485 certified design centers vertically source tooling from ISO13485 Asia facilities for cost benefits without quality compromise.
- Manufacturing: Jabil has 25 years of plastics molding expertise, including sophisticated decoration technologies. The company offers in-depth expertise in a wide range of materials, including engineered resins, thermoplastic elastomers and urethanes, and silicone rubber. Class 6, 7 and 8 clean room environments are available for device assembly.
