International Fuel Technology, Inc. (IFT) (OTCBB: IFUE) announced today that it’s European-based distribution partner, Multisol Iberica, made its first sale of DiesoLiFT(TM) BD-4 following an extensive six-month testing program run by Multisol Iberica’s client.
DiesoLiFT(TM) BD-4 is part of IFT’s proprietary BD-Series, a group of liquid fuel additive formulations that provide superior oxidation stability, long-term storage stability, and deposit formation control to bio-diesel and bio-diesel fuel blends.
“DiesoLiFT(TM) BD-4 is clearly one of the top performing fuel additive formulations in the market today for addressing oxidation stability and deposit formation control in bio-diesel fuel blends,” said Romualdo Ricciardelli, Multisol Iberica’s Commercial Director. “Our end customer was looking for a liquid additive that provided superior oxidation stability, deposit control, and long-term storage stability. After six months of extensive testing, DiesoLiFT(TM) BD-4 clearly outperformed all other additive candidates from the competition and met the customer’s criteria. As a result DiesoLiFT(TM) BD-4 was the additive the customer chose to purchase.”
“Our DiesoLiFT BD-Series can be custom designed to effectively treat bio-fuels of various origins including vegetable oils, animal fat, recycled fried oil and corresponding fuel blends from B-2 to B-100,” said Axel Farhi, IFT’s Director of Global Business Development. “Recent testing has confirmed the ability to DiesoLiFT(TM) BD-4 to provide long-term, in excess of four months, storage stability to bio-diesel as well.”
The superior efficacy of DiesoLiFT(TM) BD-Series has been validated at numerous independent test laboratories including BfB Laboratories (Belgium), the National Technology Institute – INT (Brazil), and Montana State University (U.S.). In addition, the DiesoLiFT(TM) BD-Series has received the coveted “No Harm” certification from the German-based Association for the Quality Management of Bio-diesel (AGQM).
