The E.T. Horn Company, a leading national distributor, supplier, marketer, and manufacturer of specialty chemicals and ingredients, today announced that it has reached an agreement to market and distribute products from specialty raw material supplier HALOX.
E.T. Horn’s Coatings and Building Materials Group will cover seven western states including California, Nevada, Arizona, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Utah.
An established market leader for corrosion, flash rust and tannin stain inhibitors, HALOX manufactures products that are environmentally friendly to end users.
“Since E.T. Horn is located in California, they recognize the need to provide green solutions to their customers,” stated Mike O’Brien, HALOX General Sales Manager. “Our companies have a strong synergistic approach to business – excellent customer service, environmentally cognizant solutions - therefore we anticipate our partnership to flourish.”
O’Brien noted HALOX went through a carefully planned process of due diligence before selecting E.T. Horn, interviewing several strong candidates to represent their expanding product line in the west.
“As HALOX provides additives primarily to industrial and protective coatings companies, we rely heavily on our distributor sales force, and we believe E.T. Horn has their finger on the pulse of our industry,” O’Brien concluded.
Executives from E.T. Horn expressed elation and optimism with the new announcement: “The HALOX line has great synergy with other lines that we already represent, thus their product portfolio fits in nicely for what we offer to our industrial customers,” said Bob Ahn, President of E.T. Horn’s Industrial Group. “We anticipate substantial growth and an opportunity in the future to represent HALOX in a broader portion of the US market.”
