Advanced Film Solutions, a Florida-based home window tinting installation firm dealing with products from Huper Optik and Vista, has proclaimed that it will take part in the Tampa Spring Home Show to be conducted at the Florida State Fairgrounds from 18 to 20 March 2011.
The Spring Home Show is a place where homeowners can get novel ideas about home improvement and compare economical, energy-conserving solutions with practical solutions.
The President of Advanced Film Solutions, Mike Feldman stated that the company is participating in the home show for the fifth straight year. He continued that the house owners in Tampa spend a large amount for keeping their homes cool. The associated expenditures to make the house cool are rising in spite of the huge amount of subsidies from TECO window film rebates.
Feldman said that Solutia Performance Films has introduced an innovative Low E All Season window film called EnerLogic. This window film offers better insulating performance than existing competitive window films. It reflects away nearly 76% of the heat from the sun during summer and thus eases out the burden on air-conditioning, while it directs nearly 93% of the heating system’s radiant heat back into the room, resulting in reduced energy consumption and enhanced comfort.
