Carlisle Energy Unveils GeoTPO Membranes for Landfill Closure Applications

Carlisle Construction Materials’ subsidiary, Carlisle Energy Services, has unveiled two new products called 80- and 72-mil GeoTPO membranes. The company specializes in huge-scale commercial solar landfill closure systems and solar rooftops.

Carlisle Energy's GeoTPO membranes are developed exclusively for Exposed Geomembrane Solar Cap (EGSC) or Exposed Geomembrane Cap (EGC) purposes, as long-term and interim landfill closure solutions. They are made of three-ply, scrim-reinforced thermoplastic polyofefin that integrates sophisticated weathering package, Octaguard XT.

The GeoTPO membranes offer optimal resistance to adverse environments such as high temperatures and ultraviolet degradation. The membrane’s top ply over the scrim offers long-term weathering resistance. The top ply in the GeoTPO membranes has optimum thickness. The products come in 16 normal colors to match with the surroundings and colors can be customized for particular applications.

The Spectro PowerCap, with GeoTPO geomembrane, is the popular EGSC is the solid waste industry. With the introduction of 80- and 72-mil GeoTPO membranes, the Spectro PowerCap series offers more options for owners and developers of landfill closure systems.
