Moog Receives Contract to Deliver Automotive Test Equipment to NATRiP

Moog, a global designer and producer of precision control systems and components, has received an order to deliver advanced test systems to India.

The company will deliver fatigue and structural test solutions to the National Automotive Testing and Research and Development Infrastructure Project (NATRiP). Moog India will control the NATRiP contract and Moog operations in China, Europe and the U.S. and will also provide engineering support.

The test equipment from Moog will benefit OEMs and component producers in the automotive sector. The systems will allow them to build modern test facilities to support the development of new vehicles in minimum amount of time. Moog’s new control technology will be used for simulating road conditions. The test systems will also replicate the weariness experienced by vehicles in view of extreme sunlight, temperatures, humidity and road conditions.

The NATRiP project will produce advanced R&D, testing and evaluation infrastructure for the fast growing Indian automotive industry.
