Praxair Mexico, one of the leading gas providers in Mexico who serve over 35,000 customers in several industries and owns more than 300 manufacturing and distribution locations, has established a new plant for supplying oxygen to Johnson Controls. The plant is constructed, owned and managed by Praxair.
The new vacuum pressure swing adsorption facility is equipped with state-of-the-art, energy-efficient technology. It has a capacity to produce 140 tons of oxygen per day. The oxygen supplied by Praxair Mexico is utilized in Johnson Controls’ new facility for recycling lead acid batteries.
Johnson Controls’ Plant Manager, Fernando Benitez stated that Praxair has been a major partner in the oxygen supply project and the company’s new facility.
According to Praxair Mexico’s President and Director, Murilo Melo, the vacuum pressure swing adsorption plant expands the company’s supply systems portfolio to better serve Mexico-based Johnson Controls.
