Suntron Corporation, a leader in integrated electronics manufacturing systems (EMS), will showcase its capabilities for mission critical defense applications at AFCEA International's Western Conference and Exposition (West 2013).
The event will be held January 29-31, 2013 at the San Diego Convention Center, in San Diego, CA, and Suntron will be at booth #1933. Featuring leading military experts and analysts addressing topics related to national defense, West 2013 is the largest event on the West Coast for communications, electronics, intelligence, information systems, aviation, and more.
Suntron will highlight its superior manufacturing capabilities, which include box build, printed circuit board assembly, and large scale system integration. Suntron's manufacturing engineering expertise in DFM & DFT provides defense customers the necessary Mission Assurance to know their products are being produced with the right skills, capabilities, and process controls.
Suntron's success in the defense arena is bolstered by its Nadcap certification, the coveted independent standard for manufacturing processes in the aerospace and defense industries. As one of only very few EMS companies in the U.S. to be Nadcap-certified, Suntron is well-placed to provide its cost-competitive solutions for defense customers' high reliability products. Its premier defense qualifications also include AS9100 certification and ITAR registration.
"Our customers, and ultimately the Warfighter, depend upon our process controls, quality, and service. We understand the importance of what we do to the markets we serve," states Michael Seltzer, vice president of sales and marketing for Suntron Corporation. "We offer comprehensive controls to assure program and product conformance, supply chain relationships to assure timely and cost-effective sourcing, and specialized resources experienced in the unique demands of defense programs."
Suntron supports a range of platforms including JSF, F-22, IED Jammers, JTRS, various missile programs, UAS, and UGV. From data links, ground stations, intrusion detection systems, and missile subsystems, to tank turret solutions, landing systems, communication and navigation systems, or unmanned vehicles, Suntron employs a mission-assurance approach to process design and controls, assuring repeatability and performance.
