Malvern Instruments is exhibiting the company’s Spraytec system, used widely for the analysis of particle size in a broad range of sprays and aerosols, at ILASS Americas 2007 (15-18 May 2007; Chicago, USA).
ILASS-2007 is the 20th Annual Conference on Liquid Atomization and Spray Systems, North and South America. It provides a venue for industrialists, researchers, academics, and students engaged in the scientific development and practice of atomization and spray processes to meet and share recent developments in the field.
The Spraytec system delivers in situ, real-time measurements of the particle size distributions produced by spray and aerosol devices at acquisition rates of up to 10kHz. Using the technique of laser diffraction, it is designed specifically to address the unique requirements of spray characterization, yielding robust, reproducible results for diverse products such as agrochemical sprays, fuel injection systems and pharmaceutical inhalers.
