Hitachi Chemicals Win ADY Award for Flat Panel Display Development - News Item

Hitachi Chemical Co., Ltd. product for flat panel display, low temperature and short time pressure bonding type Anisotropic Conductive Film AC-9051AR, received the 9th Advanced Display of the Year (ADY) from Reed Exhibitions Japan in Display Material Segment. This is the first time for Hitachi Chemical to receive the award in the particular segment from Reed Exhibition.

ADY is an award recognizing outstanding products in the important field of the flat panel display (FDP) industry. It is designed to announce the award results to public, honouring achievements of each company as well as contributing to the industry’s technology and market development. This is the 9th consecutive year for Reed Exhibitions to present this notable award.

The newly awarded low temperature and short time pressure bonding type Anisotropic Conductive Film AC-9051AR shortens the bonding time and lowers the average temperature for heat bonding in interconnection process that result in lower risk of damaging other parts. We have doubled the length to 200m/roll for less frequency of reel replacement that contributes to improve costumer’s productivity. With these strong points, presently, our highly appraised product is widely used by leading LCD manufacturers.

We serve this award as strong encouragement, and we will continue to work on research for better FDP materials and contribute for its industry development in years to come.
