Unmatched Performance

eravap is a vapor pressure tester that is compact, highly precise, and easy to use. It is well-known for providing unrivaled precision, speed, and versatilty in vapor pressure testing across the market's broadest temperature range of -20 °C to 120 °C (4 °F to 248 °F).
It is the best option for both stationary and mobile labs due to its tiny size and true portability, even with a 10-position autosampler attached.
ERAVAP 2-in-1: Simultaneous Measurement of VAPOR PRESSURE + DENSITY with a Single, Portable Analyzer

The optional integration with the temperature-controlled U-tube density meter module DENS4052 from eralytics is a revolutionary development for eravap.
The density measurements provided by this innovative integrated ultra-light (less than 1 kg!) density meter module fully complies with ASTM D4052 and ISO 12185 (r = 0.00001 g/cm3).
eravap is currently the only vapor pressure tester available that enables the simultaneous measurement of two parameters in a single analyzer that are listed in international fuel specifications such as ASTM D4814 and EN 228. These parameters are the density of gasoline, diesel, or jet fuel according to ASTM D4052 and the vapor pressure of gasoline according to ASTM D5191. eravap is the ideal choice for field use, mobile labs, and terminals due to its robust and portable design.
Unique X-Oscillating Metal U-Tube Design
eralytics' unique X-oscillating metal U-tube design
Video Credit: eralytics GmbH
The DENS4052 optional density meter module, which is constructed from the unique metal Hastelloy, is based on a novel X-oscillating U-tube in which only the U-tube's straight tubes vibrate in the direction of one another. Traditional glass U-tube density meters, which oscillate in the Y-mode and require a large counterweight, are more sensitive to external shocks and vibrations than eralytics x-oscillating U-tubes.
The unique X-oscillating metal U-tube design from eralytics is extremely resilient to shocks and vibrations, which makes it ideal for measuring a wide variety of sample types even under the most extreme circumstances, such as in the field.
Low Vapor Pressure Module

The optional eralytics LowVP Module (r<0.1 kPa) makes it easy to measure low vapor pressure materials, such as chemicals or solvents, for material safety data sheets (MSDS) or other official laws (like REACH). This technique, which is based on the triple expansion method ASTM D6378, has a good correlation to the well-known but labor-intensive isoteniscope method ASTM D2879 since it uses eravap’s integrated high-performance shaker to guarantee perfect thermodynamic equilibrium at each expansion phase.

Maximum Precision and Accuracy

Vapor pressure testing is now more repeatable and reproducible due to recent advancements in eravap design. It performs noticeably better than the precision declarations of its own ASTM standards, with a repeatability of just r ≤ 0.15 kPa and a reproducibility of R ≤ 0.50 kPa for ASTM D5191 and D6378 reference materials at 37.8 °C (100 °F). Additionally, any operator bias caused by improper sample preparation required specifically for ASTM D5191 is eliminated when vapor pressure testing is done using ASTM D6378 rather than D5191.
For the most recent repeatability measurements of the eravap generation utilizing cyclopentane and pentane at 37.8°C (100 °F), please refer to the graph.

Option: 10-Position Autosampler for High Sample Throughput

eralytics' 10-position autosampler is an optional device for the eravap vapor pressure tester. The 10-position autosampler is directly attached to the instrument, allowing it to connect up to ten samples at once. It is the ideal choice for better sample throughput and increased efficiency. All instruments remain portable, even with the 10-position autosampler connected.
High Viscosity Module
With its default configuration, Eravap already covers a lot of applications. However, drawing the samples into the measuring cell becomes increasingly challenging as their viscosity rises. Heating the sample before introducing it helps in these situations. The samples in the tubes will cool down throughout the measurement, which could cause them to become blocked afterward.
All of the transfer tubes, including the inlet and outlet, are heated to 70 °C by the high viscosity extension of eravap. Through the instrument's measuring menu, the temperature is controlled to a predetermined setting. By using this module, eravap's applicability to a wider range of samples is further expanded.
