Leaching of Geopolymers in Deionised Water

Geopolymers are materials similar to Portland cement but made from natural aluminosilicates. Geopolymers made from industrial byproducts like flyash and blast furnace slag may be used to encase hazardous and radiactive materials. This work looks at durability and leaching of geopolymers.

Zirconium Effect on the Synthesis and Textural Properties of Organic Inorganic Hybrid Materials

In this work, amorphous siloxane-zirconia hybrid materials have been successfully prepared by the sol-gel process using TEOS and TPOZ as inorganic precursors and PDMS as organic polymer. In all cases monophasic and monolithic xerogels were obtained.

Electrical Properties of Acrylated Epoxidized Soybean Oil Polymers Based Composites

In this work the electrical properties of composites based on acrylated-epoxidized soybean oil (AESO)-co-butyl methacrylate (BMA) with carbon black (CB) are studied. Composites were obtained by in situ copolymerization of the mentioned monomers with Vulcan XC72 CB.
