The Unitherm 1000 Dilatometer for Thermal Expansion Measurement from Anter Corp

Anter Corporation’s Bob Purvis describes the key features of the Anter Unitherm 1000 dilatometer.

The Unitherm 1000 is able to measure the thermal expansion of a wide range of materials from cryogenic temperatures up to 1600°C. The modular unit can be adapted with different furnace types to deal with different temperature ranges.

The unit can measure the thermal expansion of up to 4 samples simultaneously using its programmable computer interface.

It also features digital displacement transducers which provide very accurate, very linear measurements with no drift. The Unitherm 1000 can also deal with large thermal expansion materials using transducers with up to 25mm in travel.
