PeakForce Tapping QNM from Bruker for Materials Science

This video shows Bruker's PeakForce Tapping, a significant breakthrough in AFM technology. Bruker's PeakForce QNM mode for materials characterization uses the PeakForce Tapping technology to map and distinguish between nanomechanical properties including modulus, dissipation, adhesion and deformation, and to simultaneously image sample topography at atomic scale resolution. The samples can be characterized in the widest operating range from soft materials (~1kPa) to hard metals (100GPa). The PeakForce QNM allows high-speed and high-resolution mapping of nanomechanical properties.
