Solder Paste Printing

This video illustrates about solder paste printing. Solder paste performs the function of a physical interconnection material and also serves as the conductor, structural support, and thermal interface. Applying correct amount of solder in exactly the right place is critical to the manufacturing process.

Latest solder stencil printing equipment is available at Digicom to accommodate an extensive range of print formats. The equipment has a laser-guided printer that uses a scanning camera to quickly locate the fiducials and align the tooling and PCBs correctly, while the transport system processes the boards with a minimum of handling time and the solder paste height detection system helps assure the exact height of the fillet. The easy-to-use touch screen offers faster and precise programming. To ensure accuracy and reliability of printing, the printer prints and checks each pad and solder joint after the solder is applied.
