Durasens' SCADA Compatible Basin FlocCAM

This video shows Basin-FlocCAM, a real-time online flocculation monitoring tool designed for drinking water and waste water treatment plants. The Basin-FlocCAM reports real-time measurements of floc diameter distribution, average floc diameter, average floc density, and number of flocs. The tool can be easily installed on top of the flocculation basin and connected to the water plant SCADA system. The user can monitor flocculation in several new ways. The Basin-FlocCAM allows the user to view both real-time and historical data. Effective coagulation is critical for the downstream treatment process including flocculation, sedimentation, and filtration. The Basin-FlocCAM is an ideal tool to monitor and optimize coagulation. It provides real-time measurement of plant performance and helps to easily identify and resolve coagulation errors. in addition to detecting hydraulic disruptions, the Basin-FlocCAM can also be used to customize coagulation and flocculation to raw water quality.
