The LVEM5 Benchtop TEM from Delong America

The LVEM5 from Delong America is a unique piece of equipment, being the only benchtop TEM on the market. It is also interesting in that it can operate as a benchtop FE-SEM, and STM and an optical microscope as well. The user can easily switch between modes using the software.

In TEM it has a resolution of 2nm and 3nm in SEM mode and uses a low voltage field emission electron source, allowing Delong to miniaturize the TEM and minimizing damage to samples. The low voltage operation also provides high contrast imaging.

It is ideally suited to education and research applications as it is quick to learn, affordable, and compact. It also performs well in labs as it is capable of fast sample exchange and high throughputs.
