Capabilities of Patternless Nopatech Sand Moulding Technology

This video demonstrates the capabilities of Fonderie Saguenay’s Nopatech sand moulding technology without pattern. This technology allows an unparalleled turnaround speed for fabrication of short production runs of CGI, gray and ductile iron, in which nearly 12,000 lbs of CGI and ductile iron and 16,000 lbs of gray iron can be poured.

The pillow block manufacturing process includes programming, sand machining, pouring, grinding and a full annealing treatment. The castings can be made either from original drawings or from an existing part.
