Zwick Roell’s Short Span and Edge Crush Test

This video shows the short span and edge crush tests from Zwick Roell being carried out on a paper and a corrugated card board. The tests are performed as per the guidance provided in ISO 9895 / DIN 54518, DIN EN ISO 3037 standards.

The edge crush test offers information on the strength of a corrugated board with vertically positioned flutes. The short span test measures compression strength of a paper in kN/m.
