Zwick Non-Destructive Testing Device for Medical Injection Vials

This video shows the non-destructive testing (NDT) of medical injection vials with Zwick materials testing machine. The non-destructive compression-test kit can determine the residual seal force (seal integrity) of aluminium flanged caps.

This special device consists of inserts, which can be changed quickly and easily, and compression dies of different sizes. The NDT is performed to measure the pre-load force of the rubber stopper on the flanged caps, indicating the security of the medical injection vial closure.
