One of the leading providers of medical polymer solutions, Biomerics announced that it has planned to display its thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPUs) product line at the MD&M East conference. The TPUs are used in medical tubing products and medical equipment.
Biomerics will exhibit its medical materials as an invited partner and supplier of HTP-Meds, a pioneer in medical precision tubing and extrusions. The company supplies biomedical polymer solutions to HTP-Meds and other OEM clients.
Biomerics’ Vice President of Business Development, Troy Mohr stated that the partnership with HTP-Meds enables the company to offer customized materials and services to meet customers’ requirements.
The company, based in Salt Lake City, Utah, has opened a new laboratory and has also added plastics compounding capabilities. It has recently purchased Coated Wire and Polyimide Tubing facilities. The company’s website features technology developments that include specialty extrusion processes, urethane elastomer technology and custom plastic polymers.
The MD&M East event will be held from June 7 to 9, 2011 in New York.
