Innovation as a Keyword
No less than 100 conferences will be presented during JEC Americas. See Program. Esteemed experts from the Aerospace, Automotive, Wind & Solar Energy, Building & Construction, and Sports & Leisure industries will reveal their latest developments at the event. In parallel, topics that are of high concern in today’s composites industry will also be showcased, such as new manufacturing technologies, efficient design, carbon, thermoplastics and thermosets, bio-based composites, the industry’s legal environment, and active approaches to exporting innovation.
Automation will also be one of the leitmotiv of the event
Automation will be largely represented in a dedicated Demo Zone that will be the center of attention of the show. It will demonstrate, for example, how to produce large series of carbon composite component (Apple iPad or Samsung Galaxy back cover) by compression molding using induction fast heat and cool technology.
Innovation Awards Ceremony & Products Exhibits – Nov. 7, at 4 pm at the Exhibition Hall
The famous JEC Innovation Awards ceremony will recognize nine winners and their partners for leading composites developments in categories such as Automotive, Carbon, Construction, Energy, Aerospace, Sports & Leisure, Process, Software and Recycling.
