Just over a month ago at the Jewelers of America tradeshow, global precious metal refinery, Metallix Refining Inc. announced the launch of its new advanced precious metals recycling process known as APR3.
Today, Metallix Sales Manager Maria Piastre has announced that Metallix is expanding the processing scope of APR3, and that the company is ready to accept scrap precious metals from even more industries. These additional industries include electroplating, microelectronics, semiconductor, medical, specialty chemical, pharmaceutical, and others.
"We want to let these industries know that APR3 is available to them as well," Piastre added.
APR³ is a far more advanced process compared to industry standard furnaces. Uniquely designed, APR3 thermally reduces valuable scrap precious metals in an oxygen starved, nitrogen infused, turbulent free processing environment to minimize precious metal losses. Metallix specifically designed APR3 to meet the challenge of improving the processing of sensitive and valuable scrap precious metals such as resins, filters, wipes & jars, catalysts, sludges, films and more.
"Since starting up APR3 we've seen a significant improvement in our capacity, process times, and quality of precious metal output. Now that the process scope has been expanded, we are sure that these other industries will take notice of what Metallix has accomplished and how they can benefit by APR3," Piastre continued.
Additionally, Metallix' new APR3 furnace employs the most sophisticated air pollution control system that protects the environment.
