Burel Industries Chooses UNIPOL PE Process for Polyethylene Production Lines in Malaysia

Univation Technologies has announced that Burel Industries has selected its UNIPOL PE Process for polyethylene manufacturing lines at Gebang Industrial Park in Kuantan, Malaysia.

The two manufacturing lines have a total capacity of 500 KTA. The Malaysian facility includes XCAT Metallocene catalyst technologies and PRODIGY single-reactor bimodal catalyst from Univation Technologies. Burel Industries’ plant will produce polyethylene products, ranging from low to high density properties.

Univation Technologies expressed its happiness for being chosen as the polyethylene technology provider for Burel Industries’ new facility. The UNIPOL PE technology will help Burel Industries to produce petrochemical products and will give the company a competitive edge in the local market.

Burel Industries selected the UNIPOL PE process technology as it offered a number of benefits, including advanced technologies, scalability, broadest product capabilities and low investment costs. The technology will help meet the increasing demand of polyethylene in Malaysia and will offer the required capability to the company’s business growth.
