HORIBA Scientific, a company specializing in Raman spectroscopy, has introduced a new, advanced instrument called XploRA which is a novel concept in Raman microscopy and allows users to perform chemical identification processes through their microscopes.
The XploRA offers a similar proven performance like other Raman microscopes available from HORIBA Scientific and is affordably-priced. The instrument, which integrates chemical analysis and microscopy, retains the complete functionality of microscope and also provides high performance Raman spectroscopy.
The tool is user-friendly, small and has a rugged design. Since it has a small footprint, the system can be easily transported, thus making it suitable for QA/QC, research and development and forensic laboratories. The exact nature of samples can now be explored with compound identification and chemical imaging technique. The system also eliminates sample preparation and the necessity of atmospheric conditions.
The XploRA allows spontaneous operation through new software modules that are fully compliant. The modules include GO! Guided Operation wizard, which increases speed and allows easy operation.
