Automated Cork Testing System from Mecmesin

This video shows automated system from Mecmesin that is used to test the closures made by natural corks. This machine can be loaded up to 200 samples for unattended operation. The system first measures the diameter of the cork and then correct test parameters are applied for that sample.

These automated testing systems are designed to relieve operators of tedious or difficult tasks and to provide greater consistency and speed during material handling and testing. They are particularly suited to production environments, where repetitive tasks can lead to operator error and inconsistent test results, the volume of throughput is high and where consistency of sample mounting is important.
