Top-Load Testing with Mecmesin’s MultiTest 2.5-dV

This video shows top-load testing using Mecmesin’s MultiTest-2.5-dV. This testing is employed for measuring the resistance of the containers to a point of compression load during deformation.

The eventual collapse and loss of strength during filling, capping and stacking of a container occurs due to vertical loading. During compression, a vented compression plate allows the air to escape. A batch of nearly 10 bottles is examined in about 2min. The results are displayed as “pass” or “fail” using a color code indication.
