135° Peel Test using Mecmesin’s Custom-made Vacuum Fixture

This video shows a custom-made vacuum fixture that holds a semi-rigid container securely at 135o while the MultiTest-i determines the force used to remove the lid. A constant speed of 500mm/min ensures repeatable results. Mecmesin’s Emperor software controls the test stand, measures the force, and collects the data to plot force and displacement in real-time.

The MultiTest-i and Emperor software has been superseded by the OmniTest universal testing machine and VectorPro software.
