Applications of FAST MAS Solid-State NMR in Pharmaceutical Systems

This webinar introduces the fundamental aspects of FAST MAS SSNMR and demonstrates useful applications of such a high-spinning regime (≥ 40 kHz) for pharmaceutical systems.

Due to the considerable improvements in spectral resolution and sensitivity generated from FAST MAS, “solution-like” proton-detected SSNMR tests have become a reality. This event will demonstrate instances of such use cases.

About the Presenter

Presenter: Federica Rossi, NMR Service & Application, JEOL (ITALIA) S.p.A.

Federica Rossi earned her Ph.D. from the University of Torino, Italy, focusing on solid-state NMR within the field of crystal engineering for pharmaceuticals.

She collaborated with Dr. Yusuke Nishiyama at the RIKEN Institute in Japan, developing innovative methods for extracting structural information from SSNMR spectra under ultra-fast MAS conditions.

Federica joined the JEOL team in Italy last year, providing service and application support.
