IDES Technology for Transmission Electron Microscopy

The primary purpose of IDES is to provide transmission electron microscopy (TEM) with time resolution capabilities. IDES products can render periods from milliseconds to femtoseconds. This includes the Relativity system (seconds to microseconds) and Luminary systems (microseconds to femtoseconds).

The focus of this seminar will revolve primarily around the new electrostatic dose modulator (EDM), a direct outcome when combining IDES and JEOL.

This seminar offers insights on the following:

  • Advantages gained by combining IDES and JEOL
  • Compact Optical Delivery System
  • Features of the new EDM
  • JEM-2100 Time-resolved TEM
  • Relativity Electrostatic Sub-Framing System
