Cryo-EM in Structural Analyses of Proteins and Viruses

On April 8, 2021, JEOL unveiled its latest electron cryo-microscope, the CRYO ARM™ 300 II.

The CRYO ARM 300 II features key improvements, including an upgraded cold field emission gun and a novel in-column Omega energy filter to boost the attainable resolution and throughput.

Leveraging Kohler-type illumination, the enhancements produce a 1.29Å resolution map of apo-ferritin with an unprecedented acquisition rate of 20,000 images/day, achieving the requisite 4-5 daily projects, start to finish in general life sciences and the pharmacological sector.

This webinar is for those looking to develop a deeper understanding of TEM to improve their imaging results.
