Robert "Chip" Cody, Ph.D.: Principal Scientist at JEOL USA, Inc.

Robert B. (Chip) Cody is the Principal Scientist for JEOL USA, Inc. Among his other accomplishments, he invented the trapped-ion tandem-in-time MSn methods and is a co-inventor of the DART ion source. 

Dr. Cody consulted on the Mars 2020 Rover project, was Vice-President for Arrangements for the American Society of Mass Spectrometry, and received the 2011 Anachem Award and the 2012 Purdue University Distinguished Alumni Award.
